Ferraguti (Ferrara 1862 - Forli 1925) became famous by exhibiting in Brera the painting "Alla Vanga" dated 1891. In 1899 he participated in the third International Art Exhibition in Venice, later collaborating with the publishers ″Treves″ illustrating the books of the author De Amicis and Verga. This painting is dedicated to the Treves family in particular to Emilio Trevers, uncle of Ferraguti’s wife.
